Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 5, 2026
Last Updated: August 5, 2026

Welcome to Vantre. This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications and digital tools (the “Apps”) developed by Vantre (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data remains under your absolute control. By installing or using any of our Apps, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data remains under your absolute control. This policy explains how we handle your data across our entire ecosystem.

2. The “Zero‑Collection” Promise

The entire Vantre ecosystem is built on a “Local‑First” architecture.

  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, user content, or metadata to our own servers or any third‑party servers.
  • No Tracking: Our applications contain no advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or hidden telemetry.
  • No Account Required: You can use all features without creating an account or providing an email address.

3. Local Processing & Temporary Data

  • On‑Device Processing: All core functionality runs entirely on your device’s local hardware. Your photos, documents, and their contents are never uploaded, and no analysis of them is ever performed on a server.
  • Ephemeral Cache: Some apps may use temporary private cache directories to hold working files during processing. Your original data is never modified.
  • Automatic Cleanup: Any temporary files are automatically cleared after the task is finished or during periodic background maintenance.
  • Optional Model Downloads: Some apps offer optional features powered by a machine‑learning model that is downloaded once and then runs offline on your device. If you choose to enable such a feature, the app makes a single request to Google’s servers to fetch that model file — for example, the optional enhanced‑detection feature in Blur downloads a model of roughly 600 KB. This request transfers only the model itself. No photo, document, file name, or detection result is ever included in it, and once the model is downloaded the feature works with no further network access. These features are off by default, are clearly labelled before you enable them, and can be turned off at any time in the app’s settings.

4. Permissions

Each Vantre app requests only the permissions that are essential for its specific purpose. Depending on the app, you may be asked for:

  • Photo & Media Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Apps that edit or clean your images need to read the photos you choose. You select which images the app may open, either through Android’s own photo picker or by sharing an image into the app. The app reads those files only to process them on your device, and writes only the results you explicitly export. It never scans your photo library on its own.
  • Location Metadata Permission (ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION): If an app provides controls for location information embedded in your media, it may request this permission to read or modify that metadata entirely on your device. No location data is collected, stored, or transmitted off‑device.
  • Notifications & Background Service: If an app offers an optional feature to watch for new screenshots or files and alert you when sensitive information is detected, it may request notification permission and run a short‑lived background/foreground service to perform this check. This scanning happens entirely on your device; no file, notification, or scan result is ever collected, stored, or transmitted off‑device. This feature can be turned off at any time in the app’s settings.
  • Internet Access & Billing Permissions: Used strictly for license verification, in‑app purchases (Google Play Billing), or optional user‑initiated features such as the one‑time model download described in Section 3. Payment information is handled exclusively by Google; we never see or store it.
  • Network State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used only to check whether a connection is available before attempting an optional download, so the app can tell you it is offline instead of appearing to hang. It does not identify your network, and no information about your connection is collected or transmitted.

5. Third‑Party Services (Google Play Billing)

If an app includes paid features, we use Google Play Billing. Your financial details are processed exclusively by Google. Vantre never receives or stores your payment information.

6. Data Safety Declaration

In compliance with Indian and international data protection standards:

  • Data Collection: None.
  • Data Sharing: None.
  • Outbound Requests: None that carry your content. The only network requests our apps make are Google Play Billing calls and the optional one‑time model download described in Section 3, neither of which includes any of your files or their contents.
  • Data Security: All data handling is ephemeral and strictly limited to on‑device processing.

7. Children’s Privacy

Vantre tools are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us immediately.

8. Jurisdiction and Compliance

This policy is governed by the laws of India, specifically complying with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

9. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because Vantre collects no personal data, the rights typically granted under the GDPR or CCPA (access, deletion, opting out of data sales) do not apply to your use of the Apps. For any privacy questions, you can still contact us.

10. Technical Disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that any tool will remove every trace of digital identification under all circumstances. Users with high‑stakes privacy needs should manually verify outputs and follow best practices for operational security (OPSEC).

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified via an update inside our Apps or on our website.
